Athletes come in many shapes and sizes and play many different sports. Yet, similarly they all have a physical demand placed on their body. A demand that they don’t mind putting up with for love of the game. The astute athlete understands that the strongest, fastest person may not be the greatest competitor or biggest threat on the field. There is a phenomenon that is often referred to as down court vision, or field vision. This refers to the athletes ability to perceive what is happening on all aspects of the field.
Simply being good is not good enough. This is where we come in. When your spine is appropriately aligned and free to move as it is designed to, reaction times decrease and transference of forces is more efficiently conducted. Having a spine free of misalignments is almost impossible in today society, with all the looking down at phones, sitting for hours on end, lack of nutrients, chemical toxicity and stored traumatic experiences to have a nervous system/spine that allows you to perform at your highest potential. As your Chiropractor I will use my training to free you of spinal misalignments/subluxation, and utilize my experience to coach you through your areas of weakness (strength, stability, tightness, or lack of coordination) to enable you to achieve this potential
